"Luckily, after just 10-15 minutes, we found a pod of about 15 orcas. Because we were the first boat to arrive, they came within 5 meters of us, which was an unforgettable experience."
"Lad gave us a great introduction and was a fantastic captain throughout the trip. He knows all the best spots and also makes sure to go somewhere with fewer boats, so you get a truly unique experience."
"Kat and Lad were super friendly and helpful. We got to see Orcas and Humpback whales. They were respectful of the animals, and told us lots of information about them. The group size was small which was really nice."
"Lad is a very experienced and charismatic captain. He takes you to the right spots while always considering the wildlife. Kat in the office manages everything around the tours highly professionally."
"Sometimes, he lowered a kind of microphone into the water, allowing us to hear the sounds of these animals amplified. We saw a baby orca that had just been born a few days earlier; it was truly moving!"
"The small group made the trip feel personal, and seeing the whales up close in such stunning Arctic scenery was unforgettable."

Check out our toursAfter many years working in Arctic tourism, we set out to create something different, an experience that combines our local knowledge, love for nature, and commitment to small-group adventures. Our goal is simple: to offer authentic wildlife encounters that prioritise quality over quantity.

"We believe the best moments aren't always captured through a camera lens. Sometimes they're found in the silence between snow-covered mountains, the sight of an orca surfacing beside the boat, or the crisp Arctic air on your face."
We do not offer snorkelling tours with the wildlife. We do not offer any in-water activities with the whales. Regulations are vague in Norway and without further protection for the animals and environment, we cannot recommend or support these activities as a tourism product for the masses.

Our skipper will do their utmost to find whales and marine life during the trip. However, these are wild animals and we cannot guarantee sightings! Each day is unique, in terms of encounters and interactions and it is for the whales to decide.
The most common observations are humpback whales, orcas and fin whales. Sperm whales do visit the area and are mostly seen in January when the other species start to leave. Keep an eye out for sea eagles!
Whale season in Northern Norway is usually from mid to late October to the end of January. Based on experience from previous seasons, we plan our tours from approximately the 3rd week of October to the 3rd week of January, subject to change based on the whale activity in the area.
December and January are dark months, it is during our 'Polar Night' here in the Arctic. This does not mean complete darkness. Our tours during this time head out between 10am and 1pm, where there is a few hours of twilight. On clear weather days, you may even experience hours of beautiful colours like a magnificent combination of sunrise and sunset.
We offer our guests to book now, pay later with a 5% deposit. The remaining balance is charged to the card within 24 hours of the tour. If you would prefer to pay beforehand or with a different card, please contact us for a payment link.
We operate a 24 hour cancellation policy. Unfortunately, we are unable to refund any reservations within 24 hours of departure for any reason, including flight disruptions, sickness or injury and we advise you to have adequate travel insurance.
If we need to cancel your tour due to bad weather, we will try to reschedule where possible or issue a full refund.
A RIB boat travels with speed. It is exposed to the sea and weather conditions, this gives you the full Arctic experience. There is a possibility that you will be "splashed" by seawater during the trip. A reasonable level of fitness is required. Not suitable for pregnant people, people with mobility or back issues, or children under 14 years old. Our largest suit size is a 3XL.
